Who
This
web site features the computer fractal artwork discoveries
of Lou Bradbard and the hand-drawn fractal artwork of
Jason Padgett.
Very special thanks to E.
Thor Carlson for
his guidance and support.
What
This
site is an
attempt to make some kind of a statement about art,
modern art in particular. Whether the statement is
serious
or satirical is unknown to the
artist,
so
the
visitor
is
invited
to comment.
When
This
site was launched Jan 8, 2007.
Where
In
the shadow of Mt. Sunapee in Goshen, New Hampshire, USA.
How
This
site was designed on Apple Macintosh systems running
OS X 10.4 Tiger using Photoshop
Elements with the Corel KPT graphics plug-ins.
The
fractals were created using KPT's FraxPlorer module.
Totally
awesome
web site
hosting by SiteSell.com.
Why
The
computer created images began to somehow evolve from
the simple "crop circle" fractal shapes into images that
almost seemed to represent "things" and became somehow
evocative.
They seemed to need to be organized, fine-tuned,
given names and shared with the world.

Even though my computer has
all the art talent, I have found it helpful with the fractals
to learn all I
can
about
art. This site has some great info for the beginner artist.
